A film that won many hearts and awards worldwide and further broke the norms of the Indian Film Industry. It was the first feature in India where the protagonist was a homosexual and the film dealt with the stigma of HIV. The film was widely accepted and critically acclaimed internationally and within India where it was distributed by the top privately owned studio Yash Raj Films. The film was premiered at the prestigious “Frameline film festival”, in San Francisco followed by Winning the Jury & Audience Award at Montreal (Image+ Nation film festival), the Audience Choice award at the 20th Milan International Lesbian & Gay Film Festival and continued to be screened at many more festivals till today in 2011.
