Fez Vartan’s professional experience in the cosmetics industry began more than 11 years ago while he was a singer/actor in Asia. His natural ability for the arts combined with his struggles with skin problems from a young age made him passionate about all things beauty.

“During down time away from the stage or camera, I had this strange fascination and would always ask to look in other celebrities’ bags to see what they were using. After all, these are people who have access to the best. I also learned from the best in the industry and eventually began to practice on celebrity friends.” This eventually led to covers and editorials for Vogue, Elle, Cleo, Harper’s Bazaar, Image and GQ soon followed in addition to work for music videos, premieres and runways.

Upon his return to Portland, Fez realized that there were no places in town to get the exclusive items that worked wonders from the insiders. Sick of the monopoly of mass-marketed lines that mainly varied in packaging, Fez called on his A-list connections, took the state exams in cosmetology and began to do research himself. “This included a very short stint at the local cosmetic counters to see what it was like. It saddens me that many go to these usual places and are not really cared for. I have never been a good sales person. When you think in terms of sales, it doesn’t become about the client anymore. It’s always been about relationships and understanding the individual with me”

After years of research with colleagues, Fez has launched his flagship luxury spa and boutique featuring the most exclusive collection of result-oriented luxuries in the industry. Besides offering the best in products, his positive energy and integrity has earned him many loyal clients from in and out of town. While many places cater to the masses, Fez has no plans to expand any time soon. He prefers to personally provide all his services to ensure the highest standards of custom care.

“It’s about expert education and trusting relationships here. My pledge to you is to always put YOUR needs first .”
